I think so, never done it online before.

You'll need to sign in with your client reference number to start with. Search for "Match Tickets" on one of the drop down menus, from there you should be able to see the Cup tie v Ayr United.

It's actually easier to do than explain so hopefully you can follow the various steps and you should be ok. You'll pay online and access will be added to your card. All things being ok, you will receive a confirmatory e mail.

Press on buy single tickets, it will take you to a screen with available matches on it, your ticket will be marked reserved, hover the cursor over that and it will give you an option to add to basket, add it to your basket and go through the payment as normal. It's very easy even for computer illiterates

When you press Match tickets from the top menus it takes you to a screen with all available match tickets, it will have upcoming events and reserved tickets (big green tabs on the LHS of the screen, under the reserved tickets it will have a pull down menu at the end of the line, press that and it will give you the option of adding it to your basket.

Just ordered my ticket - boy do I miss the days of cup topup! It certainly helped the bank balance. What is everyone else's views - am Ithe only one that misses this?
In terms of the online system I have to admit it took me awhile to get used to it but now it's set up along with the 3 ref numbers ofpeople I go with it is actually nice and quick - for anyone who hasn't donethis yet give the ticket office a call and they will help set up :)

I think all of the fans who used it miss it.

I'm pretty sure that since we became absolutely brilliant at cup competitions Hibs started to have a problem with it though, as they were missing out on valuable revenue.

My laddies a student, work part time at the weekend, and when he does go I cannot print his ticket at home as it must be collected. When we go to collect it we just get handed the tickets. It does get checked at the turnstile, which is fair enough, but if its not checked at the ticket office why not let me print it at home?

Can't be bothered doing a dot count but most sections now either red, or yellow with only single seats. Inroads starting to be made into the usual troublesome suspects - the east and west far wings, and upper FF right (sec 25).

Big splurge on Thursday (if we get a result at Paisley) or Friday (if we don't) should see the home stands sell out.

Obviously they will be season tickets that may not be taken up. Hopefully less than the 1,200 that were returned for the Hearts match but it is a 3:00 pm Saturday fixture. There may also be unsold hospitality seats in Blocks 49 and 50?

If the remaining tickets go over the next two or three days and there is a good uptake by season ticket holders then maybe they will think about opening part of the South Stand to home support.

Stellar work, old chap. Comparing it to Calum's count on 2,700, we've shifted 1,300 in two days, so it's looking like, even with everything else factored in, the home stands will sell out. I think a South Stand decision might have to be made later in the week.

I don't know if they will see a QF as a big day out. Would be surprise if they brought over 1,000.

Would be folly to give them all the South.

They have been reserved until Thursday.

As things stand there are around 975 tickets on the planner.

That's around 450 shifted since yesterday afternoon.

They should be pretty well all gone by Thursday. It all depends on how many season ticket seats are not taken up and how many spaces in hospitality are unsold. I suspect that some are hanging on for the release of better seats held by season ticketholders.

Yes section 25 of FF and the East wings have already gone yellow, always a key indicator. The west wings are the only green ones left, and it's still Tuesday. Everything is pointing to a mad scramble Thursday/Friday, with a home sell-out and another Dundee United-style debate about the south stand. Because the United game was televised, people had the option of watching in the pub if they couldn't get a ticket. This one could get a bit more heated and generate more ill-will towards the club if the South is split badly with 1,500 Ayr, 2,400 free seats and Hibs fans unable to get tickets.

As yet still no info about Ayr ticket allocation/sales.

Had a quick look this morning - reckon all tickets will be gone on Thursday. Then a further release of around 1500 or so Friday when unsold ST seats become available.

Crowd of around 17.5k would be my guess (500-1000 more if they open the South).

Is there no way season ticket holders who cannot go on Saturday release their tickets now

I think that some have already done so. Tickets keep appearing on the planner for sections that were previously sold out.

We will find out tomorrow.

Could only get two together in sec 45, should be a good crowd, 16-18k

A Good result tonight and a probable stampede tomorrow.

An indifferent/poor result tonight and probably slow tomorrow with a bigger rush Friday.

I would agree with that DBS.

Hopefully if tickets move quickly then Hibs should announce about opening the South for Home fans. Surely Ayr and Hibs will have been in talks regarding the likely size of travelling support, I think Ayr are entitled to 10% or 2000 tickets. With them splitting the gate with us the bigger the crowd suits both teams.

They are entitled to 20% so they would have every right to take whole stand however if their sales arent great they may agree to give some to Hibs given they will benefit from splitting the gate if more at the match.

We also have to take into account the reserved 00.5% tickets in the South for visiting Jambos who lack the appropriate day care facilities. Does this come out of the Ayr allocation?

My laddies a student, work part time at the weekend, and when he does go I cannot print his ticket at home as it must be collected. When we go to collect it we just get handed the tickets. It does get checked at the turnstile, which is fair enough, but if its not checked at the ticket office why not let me print it at home?

My son emailed his student ID to the ticket office, which now let's him print tickets at home or have them added to his ST.
Saves a lot of hassle.

Yup, I'm elsewhere in the ground so my wife & daughter could join meself & the wee guy, so our two S.T. seats in Area Prawn would have gone up for sale on Monday.

Should be around 11,000 tickets available on Thursday now................

Around 450 tickets available now. Most are in sections 1, 9 and 10 in the West Stand. I make it around 50 tickets in the FF and 60 in the East Stand left.

Nothing like a planner filled with red and yellow to encourage the doubters to buy a ticket. Most will be gone by Thursday afternoon.

We can assume that there will be another 1,500 or so coming on line on Thursday at 17:00 but those could be sold before Saturday?

It may be too late to open up the South Stand to home support, if not there may be few or no ticket available for walk-up supporters.

Let's sell it out - the team needs us to pick them up after last nights performance. (Yes I am aware a professional footballer shouldn't need motivation- but a positive home support can add an advantage).

Plus the financial reward makes for a semi final are massive.

:agree:

Plus, the players will probably fancy this one and will turn up. Guaranteed win.

St.Mirren away? Meh.

The fans might be ambivalent about the team, but those sales show that the love affair with the club is as strong as ever.

A bit of making up to do to deserve this level of support.

Am I the only one that finds the interactive seat plan no longer works with Chrome? Fine on IE but it says it isn't compatible with my browser when on Chrome.

I think in players minds they view a bad league result as fix able in the next game. Not so in the cup (exclude replays) so I think they will "turn up" on saturday. I work in Ayr so I really hope so

I think this would come out of the no mans land allocation, ie they sit under the dividing blanket between Hibs and Ayr fans, that way they can do naughty things to themselves and not be caught on camera.

Doesn't work on Safari or Firefox either, is it only IE it works on? I've not used that in years and refuse to download it because it is cr@p!

292 left.
Now 234 left.

That is 204 in the West Stand (128 in block 01, 25 in 09, 44 in 10).

There are 26 left in the FF Stand and 4 left in the East Stand.

Most purchasers will be hanging on for the release of better placed seats for unclaimed seats from season ticket holders.

If there is demand for the south and it is not open it will be an absolute disgrace.

We will not know until the unclaimed season tickets are made available.

I suspect that there is insufficient demand to open the South Stand for this match. Had the tickets been sold out two or three days ago it may have been different.

It is kind off annoying as they will undoubtedly open it for the Dumbarton Championship match!

It is strange seeing the planner now. The areas sold out or nearly sold out are the blocks which are usually quite empty because there were few season ticket holders. The blocks with most seats available are those with high levels of season tickets (FF Lower for example).

Get the singing section in there and get the slackers moved out.
