Just wondering, because I couldn't pick one - fontaine, bartley, cummings, holt, mcginn, shinnie would all have completely deserved it :hibees

SJM was announced at the game but as the OP says could have been one from any of the team.
For me it was Jason for his overall play on the night. One of his best games for a while.
But for sheer balls, could also go for Holt purely for the way he noised up the Hearts players by letting them know they were in a scrap they were never going to win or get the better of him.

Fontaine for me.

This. The big man was outstanding. Close call though between him and big Holty

Cummings for me. Ran his arse off down the channels and held up play brilliantly to bring players in for attacks. Scored and assist for Holt goal.

Best game he's had for us.

I can see why SJM was given it though cause he was a total machine at wining bald and driving forward.

Malaury Martin was MOTM.

He was surely playing for us, was he not? :cool2:

I thought Cummings edged it followed closely by McGinn and Fontaine. All played well though.

3 and a half year deal...

We have many more seasons to enjoy watching him 'play' against us

Cummings is becoming a brilliant player.

Any offer we get for him, we need to balance it against the 4+ goals he WILL score for us against them next year. Not to mention the rest of his goals/ play.

Martin was subbed at HT on Wednesday, just as he was in the first meeting between the teams 10 days earlier. Is this some sort of record?

Terrible player. Mercenary on a 3 year deal.

I haven't been a big fan of Shinnie but I think he deserved MOTM on Wednesday night.
