Hearts won a total of two games in the Scottish Cup (one of which was extra time v Raith).

Hibs have beat Hearts 3 times alone.

Is that right?

Since they "killed us as a club" -

- We have knocked them out the scottish cup 3 times
- Won the Scottish cup (after they blew a 2-0 lead at home with 10 minutes to go in the 5th round)
- Been in 3 cup finals
- Played in Europe
- Had the highest attendances in Edinburgh (including on their own patch)
- Dominated them in derbies (they last beat us in 2014)
- Record season ticket sales

Yep, dead alright, well done hearts you well and truly "killed us" off :aok::rolleyes:

Where as hearts since 2012 final -

- Haven't made it past the 5th round of the SC
- Only won twice in the SC (including a replay ET win vs Raith Rovers)
- Hold the record for the shortest time a team has held onto the SC (Just less than 7 months)
- Entered administration
- The shocking extent of their financial cheating revealed
- Been knocked out twice in a row now from the SC by us
- Had their songbook completely ripped up
- Failed yet again to win the league cup
- Hid behind the 5-1 comfort blankets resulting in a poor derby record

Since that day - Scottish Cup Records as follows:
Hibs:
Pl 21
W 15
D 3
L 3
GF 44
GA 22

Hearts:
Pl 12
W 2
D 3
L 6
GF 9
GA 21

Celtic are really the only team who have a comparable recent record in the cup.

In the last 10 years Hibs record in the cups must be right up there.

2 League Cup finals, 1 win
3 Scottish Cup finals, 1 win
5 Scottish Cup semi finals, winning 3
2 League Cup semi finals, winning both

A 40% strike rate in cup finals and a 70% strike rate in semi finals isn't bad going all things considered.

Weve always been pretty good at getting to semis. Im sure I read once that we were 3rd behind the old firm (rip) in terms of all time SC semi appearances? (Disclaimer, may have imagined this)
Of course recently weve been getting to finals and it has paid off.

Hearts biggest win over ninety minutes in the Scottish Cup - 1-0 vs Aberdeen (15/16 season at home, fourth round)

Hibs biggest win over ninety minutes in the Scottish Cup - 8-1 vs Bonnyrigg (16/17 season, fourth round, away).

Also worth noting that of the 10 cup matches herts have 'played ' since 2012, only 1 has been outside Edinburgh.

6 of these games have been against lower league opposition.

It may just be this special relationship they have that keeps giving them such gobby draws.

Oh yeah what a choob! [emoji3]

Can I make up for it by saying that both Hibs and Celtic have scored more goals at the PBS in the Scottish Cup in the past 5 years than Hearts have scored in all of their games in the Scottish Cup in the past 5 years.
