Police Scotland have appealed for any information concerning the whereabouts of 14 Heart of Midlothian football players who went missing about 7.45pm on Wednesday evening. Nothing has been seen of them since then, despite over 20,000 people searching for them for almost two hours. A spokesperson for the players' families said all they wanted was for their loved ones to come home safe and well so that they could retake their place as a part of Edinburgh's big team.

Police Scotland have confirmed that they are not dangerous, especially the big gadgie and wee gadgie who go by the names of Goncalves and Walker.

They have asked the public not to approach Walker for his own safety, apparently he has a fear of being near people and instantly dives for cover when within a metre of strangers.
