Yet again he was extremely solid last night. I feel so comfortable watching him at all times. Pretty much every keeper we've had in my memory had me worrying whenever a corner came in but with Marciano I always get the feeling he will deal with it if he needs to.

The only area of weakness I've noticed so far is his kicking which can be dodgy at times - but even then, his composure with risky passbacks is brilliant. Always looks for a pass if it's available.

Great signing and a massive improvement on our goalkeepers from last season.

Got to say one of my favourite Dom moments was when we had tanked yet another team out of one of the cup competitions last season and he simply tweeted after the game "#next". Just summed up his nonchalant attitude to go along with his outstanding ability. God I miss him.:boo hoo:

Clearly commitment, work rate, desire etc were all hugely important in our win last night.

But it's amazing how much difference having a quality, reliable keeper makes in these games.

In years gone by we've been all over Hearts but Gordon, Niemi etc has pulled off save after save. Our keeper then drops a clanger, gifts Hearts a goal and the whole game changes.

We saw that last night but this time Hearts have the dodgy keeper. This time it's Hamilton letting in an easy goal to give us an unassailable lead.

Basically what I'm saying is we need to do all we can to keep Marciano beyond the summer.
