A few weeks back after they'd signed their batch of international mercenaries - many on short term deals - Potter announced the strategy was a gamble. Many of us suspected it was an act of desperation after they'd drawn us in the cup. The spiteful gazzumping of Bikey was another pathetic act from the bespectacled one.

Anyway, is the 4-6-0 guy's gamble now a busted flush?

With the admirable investment in a new playing surface, shortfall for the new stand funding and failed transfer strategy gambles, it's all looking great for the famous. Hell mend them.

Was listening to sport sound before the game and the eulogising of Hearts for laying a new pitch was incredible. Well run club who make quick decisions, grass lorried over from Germany, blah, blah. Must have spent 5 mins going on about it. They are laying a new pitch to replace a horrific old one not painting the Sistine Chapel.

What was the Bikey nonsense out of interest?

Detest Craig Leven, have done so every since his play acting in a derby eons ago resulted in - I think - Keith Wright getting booked.

Weird specky dickhead

Young striker from Stirling Albion we were trialling, think Hibs offered him deal, next day signs for Hearts to the end of the season.

Ahhh the French guy. Totally missed that he'd signed for them.

Oh well, his loss.

I heard that too. They keep on going on about their journey to fan ownership but that dosh is being used to prop up the other activities taking place. The fawning over the laying of the new pitch was in line with their fans response to the new truss being hoisted.
