View Full Version : Carthro and his Notes?

In all the years i watched football i have never seen professional manager send notes on wee pieces of paper out to his players on the field?

This surely must be the most up to date way of communicating with players and they are pioneers of it?

It just seems to me so so stupid............ the guy just doesnt have a clue?

I just wonder what he writes on them?.......

Cathro's bottlers get wee bits of paper to read with daft messages on them!

A few seasons back I remember an opposition coach walking up to his keepers goal and having a full conversation mid game. Maybe vs. Rangers?

I have seen it once or twice before, it's technically safer than just bellowing them out but you look like a fanny. Bring the captain over or the nearest player and give it to them to pass on!

Saw this in their match against The Rangers a month ago when Cathro was Guardiola.

Fron my own experience of it, Post-It management doesn't work.

As if that team of foreigners would understand his wee crimp notes, they probably thought he was handing them a raffle ticket.

He sent a note out to Djoume comparing him to Pogba's grandmother and Yaya Toure's sister. Next year he will be playing for Macaroon.

There was a championship game down south this season that this happened in. The player was standing reading it when an opposition player nicked it and started to read it. I'm sure there's a video of it. Ross Wallace at Sheffield Wed rings a bell

I am a bit baffled at Cathro. Can't figure him out. Will try to think about him later. Meanwhile at Fin McCools I will get rat arsed and celebrate another crushing defeat inflicted on our cheating neighbors

TBF, he had no choice as the 4th official told him he couldn't pass his laptop on to the pitch.

His Mum sent one to Budge this morning:

Dear Mrs Budge,

Please excuse our Ian from training today, he has been up all night with a high temperature and nightmares, I think it was something he witnessed last night which he told me made him very frightened.

yes we were watching his antics. He is a real strange one! he was standing alongside the tunnel keeking round looking for Hibs and growing more and more agitated!

everyone around us was laughing at him.

He is one of the most socially awkward people I have ever seen

Its painful watching him and despite the fact he is a yam walloper I cant help feel sorry for him in that regard.

He has absolutely no charisma and I think if he were ever giving someone instructions or telling them off, they would just start pissing themselves laughing.

He looks and behaves like a stooge for one of the old comedians
