View Full Version : My only complaint is we didn't score more

About 6-1 would have been a fair reflection of that game. It was a mauling for the entire match; they will feel they got let off the hook at 3-1. We could have broken them completely tonight.

Still, seven derbies undefeated and booted them out of the cup for a second successive season, which is pleasing. Our maroon chums are finding it all a bit of a challenge now they can't spend money they don't have. They are terrible at the moment.

6-0 would have been a fair reflection. A goal was more than they deserved.

A win is a won v that lot but by god they got away lucky 2night. 5 would have been easy and 7 or 8 wouldny have been to far from reach if the finishing was more clinical

No mention of the mcgregor 'goal' on the bbc live feed I see.

Their goalie is a total liability. Pleasing.

Why was McGregor's goal ruled out? Offside?

Think it must have been for a foul. Climbing perhaps.

I was hoping for 5-1 because they enjoy making the sign so much.

All we had to do was win and we did that.

But it could and should have been more.

We bossed the game once again and have bragging rights till at least August when I expect us to face again in the league.

Could have added a couple more easily. Not complaining though.

I was right in line with it, he was offside unfortunately, would have made my night even better if Daz had scored against them

I'm quite happy we didn't score more, I had Cummings 3-1 at 60/1! :greengrin

If they hadn't have got a lucky break with the penalty it would have been 4 or 5 without a doubt. We were playing with a freedom that threatened to destroy them at 3-0, the penalty meant we had to reign it in a bit and finish the job professionally. Without them getting that goal we would have ran riot.

Agree with the title of this thread. On another day, we could easily have got 7-8 past the s****. I look forward to more of theses meetings next season when we are finally back in the Premiership!
