How reliable is this guy?

He always scores, especially against hearts.

He loves it.

Also scored very good bravery and maturity for the second goal.

I love Cummings.

Jase was immense. His overall game has improved so much this season which imo is down to having a guy like Holt around him and helping him out.

Onwards and upwards young man. Well played

Aye. That song about being up and they ****ed it up always rings in my lugs when it comes to Cummings and Hearts. Shame they didnt have the decency to look after the laddie properly back then.

That said, they can feel most warmly invited to get it right up them now for their general and expected behaviour. What goes around, comes around and they can get that RIGHT ****ing round them all now.

Nice one cummings son. The way to shut the mutants right up is to slap goals past them. Then laugh. Sorted.

Got to agree with this. Young Jason worked his socks off and played like a team player which has sometimes been his weak point. Had a few quid on him as first goalscorer too so very happy with Jason. Great game.

I think Jason had his best performance in a Hibs jersey tonight, led the line brilliantly, his goal was superb and his assist was a thing of beauty, showed great vision and finesse, his game outside the box does need a lot of work to it but credit where it'a due, he was marvellous tonight, he loves these fixtures.

I think Jason has improved his all round game out of all recognition this season and I think the credit for that needs to go to Neil Lennon and Grant Holt

He is still very inconsistent in his all round game, but tonight and also against Dundee United I thought he was fabulous and gave us a glimpse of what he could become

One of my favourite Hibs striker's over the last 50 years has been Garry O'Connor, I thought he was completely unplayable in bits the season he went to Russia.

The two performances Jason has put in that I have referred to above are up their with some of Gary's best and Jason doesn't have the same physical attributes as Garry did at that time.

Keep at it Jason, show the same improvement next season and get more consistent and the world is your oyster.

Indeed, and he definitely has improved his all round game. Those who were saying that he only really brings goals did have a point but he's developed as a player since then. I wonder how much of that is down to Neil Lennon and his "words of wisdom"?

He seems possessed when he plays Hearts and always plays out his skin.

My man of the match but I want to see a similar effort against Dunfermline.

Take out his first 16 games under Butcher before he scored his first goal for Hibs and he's scored more than a goal every 2 games.

To put that into perspective, wee fat Robbo scored about a goal every two and a half games throughout his career. Ally McCoist, pretty similar to JC. Kris Boyd similar to Robbo. And he's only 21 and going to improve... The laddie is an absolute goal machine.

As if. These guys still don't understand what a level playing field is (in fact it's not a level playing field, their budget is much bigger due to FOH cash).

Anyway, **** them

His general game and game knowledge have improved and you can thank Holt for that. Just watch when JC has the ball and the man at his back, the way he holds him off and the way he will go down when he feels the push in his back, he's learning to be very clever as a striker, something he didn't do before.

I think this is a unique derby aftermath in that we seem to be much in agreement with the Jambos about how the game went.

I read on another thread a post that quoted a kickback poster, and instead of it being delusional drivel it was critical yet bang on the money.

It's a strange yet beautiful morning.
