I see we played the "Away" leg in Glasgow. Any reason why?

Frozen pitch i think. Away leg at Firhill but im not 100%

Its in Sweden and the game was in the middle of winter.

No undersoil heated pitches in those days.

Was it not that they couldn't afford to go Scotland - Sweden - Scotland in the space of a week or whatever so hung around

Always used to be a good pub quiz question,first Glasgow ground to host a European Cup match.

Closest thing I could find online is the second leg's programme, which does have a good account of the first leg.
