Heard the story (http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/burnley-using-oaps-mascots-instead-9831699) about Burnley allowing some of their older fans to be match day mascots on the radio today. I think it is a great idea and hope Hibs consider it. An important part of the community and I am sure there will be lots of older folk that may love this experience.

Let them ref the games, OAP refs wouldn't do any worse than the refs we get every week

Nevermind OAP mascots, what about middle aged fans! I'd happily slip on the full kit and run on with the boys.....might draw the line at holding Paul Hanlon's hand though!:)

Mascots as in dressing up in costumes and running about the pitch, hugging players and taking penalties at half time with massive shoes on? Im not sure too many older folk many would love the experience.

Mascots as in coming out the tunnel with the players before the game in Hibs kit
