Interesting one, was at mwell on trial but failed to win deal. Mate says they were pretty impressed with him just didn't need him in the end, scored for them in a dev game.

He's nothing specialsays you he must have something, if they've took him in for trials/ know nothing about him but who was he with and why any interest? could he be one of those no really special players, but the kind we might need players?

On one development team performance?

It took Scott Allan about 7 or 8 games to show what he was capable of - Humphrey did nothing in a recent development game - all sorts of things that would suggest you can't really judge on one game.

Humphreys has done very little in most games he's played in for Hibs. I'm just putting my opinion forward to what i saw , I was asked how Kieron Cadogan played I gave my honest opinion.

The Humphrey one is a wee bit of a puzzle. He was terrific against D.Utd. but disappointing to say the least in other outings.

Hopefully just a blip. He was woeful against Ayr. Night and day from the last home game he played.

After a good start at Preston, Humphrey really struggled to get into their team before he came here, possibly his inconsistency is a major factor why he struggles to move on further with his career and another reason why he's at Hibs and not a bigger club in a bigger league.

Well that's not true. His first two seasons for Preston he played 40+ games, id say that's more than a good start and also would say he was a first team regular. He feel out the picture after they were promoted, maybe he wasn't good enough for that level.

All fair enough. If you post your honest opinion on the Internet though, expect to have it challenged.

one day maybe...

I'm with Tamhere1875.. he played ok but wasn't exceptional. Although in fairness he does know how to whip a cross in from a nothing situation.. Looked a bit hippy (weight), be interesting to see him after a decent preseason..

Ah that'd be something eh?
It does look like he can whip in a decent cross; something we, as a team, don't do enough.

Don't mind having it challenged by people who go to the games and see the player but like most fans sites the ones that say the most rarely go to games

He was good for the first half against Dundee Utd - whether due to lack of match fitness he didn't really do anything in the second half at all and hasn't done anything since. Here's hoping that we can get the first 45 mins of his Hibs career more frequently.

How is what I say not true, it's the same as what you've just posted, he started off ok and his form dipped away, now whether that was due to jumping up a league or not is neither here nor there, he did fall out of favour at Preston.
