Yep - as per OP. Even he was enjoying the scenes as he pulled out the yellow card for Sir David :greengrin

This is unusual as normally the REF from original game along with linesman do the replay Gollum must either have a lodge meeting that night or god forbid a champions league game !!!

The same happened last year too. Thomson did the original game, Beaton the second.

He apologised to Sir David after he booked him at the end for leaving the pitch. Said he had to book him but understood why he had to leave the pitch.

Yeah the referees in both the Clyde-Ayr and Hamilton-Dunfermline matches are the same in tonight's replays as they were on Saturday.

It's still the same rule, but Collum won't have been selected as there is a good chance he will be on European duty next week.

It's wrong to elevate a man to god-like status, simply for doing his job efficiently and impartially, but this is Scotland, and we really needed a fair crack of the whip to get an all-consuming monkey off our backs.

So I'll just say that I will always love and respect Steven McLean for that ballsy, dignified and impartial display of refereeing in that high-pressure environment of May 21st of last year.
