Yep, its a free for all on all non reserved STH seats today, after 3pm on Saturday all seats that have been held for STH that have not been purchased before the deadline will be released to the general public.

I'll predict it will 'sell out' by tomorrow with a bit of a scramble at the weekend when the unsold season ticket seats become available.

When put like that, it could be a scramble all right. Nothing like the Tynecastle carry on, and most will get tickets alright. You may be surprised how many ST's come available - maybe even four figures.

Would be amazed if as high as that re seasons but you never know this will IMO be the one game everyone will want to go to

Went to the site at about quarter to 10, sat in a queue for 20 mins to get on, got on and purchased 4 together up the back of the East.

My ST seat will be getting chucked back into the pot for Saturday.

That was painless.

First time I've had problems.

Was on at around half 9 trying to get put in a queue, as normal. But for some reason this time I was able to browse the site with ease.

Then as soon as 10am hits the Hearts ticket link appears, I click it and get bumped to the back of the queue.

Now been bumped on 2 more occasions. Bit of a joke considering I was prepared and ready to go.

I think there is a fine line between being online too early and too late. Too early and the queuing system hasn't started yet, too late and the site becomes slow... have always found 10-15 minutes to be ideal. On at 9:50 and tickets sorted by 10:10 :agree:

Done eventually, but because I was buying 4 x ST seats and 1 x non season ticket holder I had to do two separate transactions as the site would not let me select a delivery method for the individual ticket. Anyway, sorted now and £115 lighter.

Aye that was a problem I had. Three STs in my group and my sister wanted to go with a non-ST holder pal. I assigned the two new seats to her but they were all on the one order so I selected add to card. Need to pick up my Raith tickets before Saturday anyway so will ask the girls in office to give me paper tickets for the two new seats for replay.

I had a ticket in my basket but wouldn't let me purchase is. I had to try again... all sections of East showing error message in red. West both upper and lower the same.

Got one in FF upper!!

Will probably change once ST's return theirs (if they do) hopefully a sell out and new biggest Derby attendance!!

I won't labour the point too much because others don't have tickets and I'm fortunate that I do but I agree, it's annoying having to settle for inferior seats when the seats you want are potentially available.

Also noticed before with Ticketmaster that 'best available' sometimes sticks you away in a corner when more central options are available at the same price.

I've always wondered about this..There has been big games in recent seasons i can't manage and have gave out my client ref number to fellow posters on here , Whats stopping them from using my ref number again and cheating me out a ticket ?...Not that its happened i'm just gauging how it works?

Thanks for replies. No email confirmation as woman i spoke to on the phone said ticket was purchased at 10.07 this morning and emplied was a face to face transaction. Wasnt the most helpful as she said theyve been mega busy which i appreciate, but doesnt help me sadly.

Im hoping someone has misread their reference number but surely a confirmation question should have been asked. So no email confirmation or even transaction history which is strange.

So the guy with the paper ticket who is in your seat- the club know who he is as he has to be on the database. Surely can't be hard for the club to give him a call, explain, then send him out a new paper ticket for another seat when the new ones get released. Cancel his one. And add access to your card?

This happened to my mate at the last SC replay derby. When I arrived at the game there was a kid in his seat. 5 mins later he arrived with his wife and discovered that the kid had a paper ticket with his seat number on it.
Both he and his wife got in OK with their cards, so the seat had somehow been double sold.
Being the gent that he is, he let the kid stay in the seat, and his wife sat on his knee for the whole game.

In today's climate, I would have thought that an adult sitting on the knee of a child that they don't know for 90 minutes would be frowned upon.

This happened to me a few seasons ago during the time of the cup top up. I had one in the West Stand and bought an additional seat nearby for a friend. Turned out it was in the seat of someone who had a top up so friend had to move. Spoke to a steward who said it was a known issue and they would accommodate people affected in the black hospitality seats if no others available. That was a while back and with no top ups thought this wouldn't be an issue.
