That's 2 visits I've made to that place in the last few weeks and I cannot believe what a state it is in. The 3 newer stands are just over 20 years old but they look like they're nearer 80.

I remember the Pieman took the budget approach when building it but i didn't expect it to deteriorate so badly over such a short period.

Nothing a wee bit of WD 40 can't remedy in the interim

I knew the guy that sold them the steel. Huge Hearts fan. Very disparaging about the quality bought. Bare minimum for the job according to him.

It's only got one good thing over ER, hot water in the toilets

I find it odd that their seats are all different colours of faded maroon.

The pitch is the same age as the stands

Combination maroon and Rosebury pink.

They're meant to have a 25 year lifespan. They'll still be there in another 25 years.
Thing is if they build any other new stands i'm sure they cannot be as steep as the ones currently in place due to some new health and safety law. That'll bring the capacity back down a bit.

A similar solution for Tynie?

(They could re-name it Pine-y.)

They should be forced to relay the pitch now not at the end of the season. They should be getting fined as I think Motherwell did a few years back.
