Makes particularly sobering viewing after yesterday's news that the UK Government has just yesterday reneged on a promise to take in over 3000 Syrian child refugees, essentially leaving thousands of kids open to exploitation and abuse in Calais.

Food for thought. Lovren comes across well as does Germany for its attitude towards refugees.

I've been to the Croatian part of Bosnia-Herzogovina and the mere fact that the people there regard themselves as 100% Croatian rather than Bosnian shows that the divisions are still there. The border was drawn up as a compromise. The countryside travelling from Dubrovnik inland rather than along the coast is peppered with mosques and churches so Muslims and Christians are living side-by-side again which must be positive.
