Hoping we can continue to keep ahead of the chasing pack. Dreadful first half performance against Ayr only bettered by some urgency in the second half. Granted we made plenty chances and foiled by Ayr keeper but I can't help as a team we looked nervous, I also think we were left disappointed we didn't get Stokes and Commons in the transfer window. I still feel we should be looking at free agents to bolster our squad. A couple of weeks ago we were on a high and looking forward to beating our neighbours I'm afraid they have been given the initiative again. Yes we are still in a great position to win the league and return to our rightful place and it would be great to knock them out the cup again but as a club we never do anything to our advantage and consistently give other clubs hope of beating us to our goals.
