And Utd as well to be fair to them. Presumably Rangers are #goingfor55 thousand?

Four of the eight behind the bigot bros are championship sides. So that makes the SPL behaviour on splitting the play off money amongst themselves look pretty silly. A 16 top league looks more sensible by the day. Scottish football outside the top five attendances is knackered. I know it's run to suit the bigot bros and Celtic are loving their free entry into the champions league but the football is desperate so we should at least look at getting the likes of Dunfermline and Falkirk into the top flight.

Also how disappointing is the dons figures considering they are second. Makes their proposal of a new stadium seem Walter Mitty like with no likelyhood of Celtic being challenged for the title for quite a few years.

They are second, but Celtic are likely to set a world record winning margin this season.

Incredible average from us so far, all things considered. We'd also have been comfortably the 3rd highest there too if we'd had home games against Celtc, Sevco and the sheep.

Just highlights how much we need to get promoted this season.

Four of the top ten sides in that list coming from the Championship which means that half of the Premiership sides are averaging less than 4800 at their home games!

One of those teams being St Johnstone, it shows what a great job Tommy Wright is doing there when they have such a small support.

Very true SDG. The Chairman is the main reason for success in a constant basis in recent years. Stability and no panic changes. It works. Organic growth.

Don't forget Hibs, Dundee Utd, Falkirk and Dunfemline don't have the pleasure (?) of having Old Firm visits during the season to inflate home attendances.

Not really, when you add in the recession up there, and the fact that they haven't had a great season

We also have to consider that if you want to watch Hibs this season you have to go to the games as none of our home games have been televised IIRC.

That's mental. Not long ago they were serial bottom 6ers like us pre relegation, sacking McInnes is the first step to heading back down there.

I don't know how much the OF do inflate attendances. The second home matches against the OF are usually televised at crap times, and many fans, particularly those with kids, prefer to watch at home rather than subject them to sectarian 'singing' and chanting.

We've had crowds from 9-11 against the OF at ER in televised matches, and had 14.5 k v Ayr on Saturday.

Our average for 15/16 was less than 10,000 and now its over 14,000 ............... how many clubs in the whole of Europe, barring some clubs promoted to their countries top division, will have increased their crowds by a third this season?

Attendance on Sat at Ayr game was pretty amazing with a freezing cold day thrown in, we as sometimes happend proceed to produce the worst 45 mins I have witnessed in many a day, if and it is always a big if we can keep winning and then get a really good team on the park for the higher division then the crowds will increase, good winning team on the park equals more people going to watch.

Good spot - on the iphone neglected to scroll... I did find the stats for their first year odd tho - reckoned they played only once. What a crappy table?!
