Allegedly looking to sign another centre back with the news of Hanlon being injured.

Do we need another? Already have Fontaine and for Forster as back up?

If we do sign another it can't be good news for fonts and jordan.

I agree. We have Fontaine who's a first choice defender in his own right, and Forster as more than good enough cover. After that we should be playing the kids IMO, not signing another centre half. Wages are best spent elsewhere.

We may be looking for someone who can back up Fonts???

Let's just trust the manager - if we need an experienced centre back then we need to get one.

What happens if mcgregor and Fontaine get injured or suspended?

If we are to progress in the cup I think we'd play 3-5-2 which would only leave Forster as cover.

There's also the chance Fontaine may be off in the summer so this may be the opportunity to look for his replacement early.

I'm not convinced at all by Forster tbh, he is good to come on with 5 to go and head the ball away but not good enough to be starting every week. Would love Gunnar back, was class.
