For many seasons we have watched our side lose these type of games or concede stupid goals. Lennon's side doesn't do this and we are severely benefitting from this . These scrappy wins will see us win the league

Lennon has us tight and miserly at the back. It's a tried and trusted formula - a team that does not concede does not lose games. Our defence is the foundation of our success this season.

Plus we are scoring too. Steady ship and sitting too nicely now. The team and manager and producing the goods now. GGTTH ☘

You could see what it meant to him to get the win - he appreciates how vital these wins are are the weeks roll on. Great to see the passion as he marched straight over to the fans at FT to share in the celebrations and show we are all in this together.

Yes indeed, and long may it continue!

It was another great win in terms of importance. The games are now starting to run out for United and we get closer to the title with each win.

We can't take anything for granted but it's ours to lose now. Eight points isn't an insurmountable gap but with only 14 games left United have to match us plus get an an extra three wins. It's looking good for us now.

We just need to make sure we don't give United any encouragement. Next week becomes more vital now, three points then and United need to find nine extra points from 13 games. We're getting there.

One less this year after 22 games and a good few less than the previous season. Lennon has clearly went with the get points over entertainment approach, nothing wrong with that this year. Stubbs' biggest Achilles heal was trying to play decent football even when it wasn't working. The defensive players are the same give or take but the biggest area of improvement in the Team is the goalkeepers. That should have been addressed at the start of last season and it cost us a good few points as the season went on. Lennon has done a great job on the signing of the two Keepers. Not so sure about his other signings.

Not a great thread title but after opening it up and read the posts then the sentiments are spot on. We've grown a pair and not before time.
