I read something daft like he had been 23 or something at Celtic, so knocked the 2 off it to feel more like a first team player.

Guessing that translates to 3 was the only 'low' number left in the ranks?

What about marketing the big-name signings?

5,000 shirts with "Voroshilova-Hohenzollern-O'Shaughnessy 3988956" on the back can pay the agent's fees and the player's signing bonus, you know.

It turned out Shaun Dennis had lost a bit of weight, got a skinhead and grown a goatee.

Looked like a different player.

26 when he started i think. League cup final in 07 he wore 26 I'm sure.

Think Argentina numbered their players in alphabetical order under manager Menotti (sure that was his name).

Their number 1 in 1978 was a outfield player called Alonso.
