The best weekend in my 40 odd years watching the club ..... everybody who kicked a ball in the cup run will always be a legend to me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for giving me something I thought I would never see or experience.

1973 and 2016. Two years indelibly marked in my mind for ever.

Did I mind missing an Edinburgh Derby today? No. As I left *********** that day I said that it would do for a lifetime of New Year derbies. Now with elf and safety, polis objections. etc we may never see the like again. No chance of revenge for the ****bos there.

As for 2016, 2-0 up at home with 10 minutes to go against what they consider the wee team then they Heartsed it big time ( a la 1964 and 1986, far bigger defeats snatched from the jaws of victory than we ever managed).

the rest as they say, is history.
