We were pretty poor again, but this time I'm going to take the result, rather than moan about the performance.

We are ahead of Dundee United by a point, and a win and improved performance should set us up nicely with McGinn, Fyvie and Marciano's returns looming.

United have had a tremendous run and they will be sick that it ended at Dumbarton. It'll be interesting to see how they react to that loss.

Let's sell out Easter Road.

Expect a really big crowd for this now.

I think we'll sell out the home stands - 16,500, with United already having sold 1,000 of a 1,900 allocation. Probably have to give home fans half of the away end.

What? The second coming of the galacticos got beat by Dumbarton? Well I never. :greengrin

Buzzing for Friday night now. It can't come soon enough. If we can get at them from the off with a big crowd behind us we should take the points. 2-0 Hibs!

Shaping up to be a really good game. I , unfortunately can't make the game as I will be in sunnier climes and have a ticket for the game, [FF Upper], should anyone want it, [free of charge], just drop me a pm. [have to be quick though, I leave for Spain Monday afternoon.]

Would be great to pack out ER for this game and stretch to four points clear. Could really lay down a marker for the rest of the season.

Maybe the equivalent of the Sevco v Hibs game last Dec ? A Hibs win could see us kick on

Enough said

They are splitting away end and Utd have sold out lower tier and now selling upper.

Hibs in all 4 stands would be good.

They've sold their original 1000 and are well into the extra 900

Could be 17k at this game.
What a chance under the lights to fill ER in our end at least.
Proud to be a Hibby 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬👍

18K plus I reckon. The home stands will sell out 16,500 plus Utd 1,600 at present, could be 1,900, plus walk-ups/tickerts in away end. Minus about 1,000 ST's who can't make it.

Great result, I heard on Sportscene that Houston was moaning about our keeper handling outside the box?

They said it was from the resulting kick the foul given on edge of the other box for Commons to score?

Some people can't take a beating!!!!

He did indeed, said his feet were outside the box & that Falkirk were as good as Hibs & didn't deserve to lose.

To add to the biggest crowds in the capital last season, too.

This will be a tough game ... we have been the better team in both encounters with Utd this season, but have failed to put them away when given the chance, this is a huge game in the context of the season. Add in that this is practically our new year game and I would expect our biggest crowd of the season ... given that today's results couldn't have gone better for us I would expect to see at least 18,000 at this one, I mean what Hibby worth his or her salt wouldn't want to be at it if they can?

It's a huge game, surely entitled the 'six pointer' cliché. Win it and we take a big stride towards a return to the SPL. We really need to get out of this division.

Aye, but that doesn't make it illegal. maybe in Houstons world it does though.

Sorry Peter but I'm pretty sure his whole body could be outside the box as long as his hands are on the ball INSIDE the box [emoji849]

It would be illegal in American football which in fairness is somewhat similar to how Falkirk play....... think that's why he got confused......

What a difference a week makes on a fan forum eh! All doom and gloom on here after the Raith game (myself included by the way. I'm the first to admit I'm a knee jerk fickle fan!) but after today we're top and chomping at the bit for the arabs! Cannot wait.

If Scott Wilson isn't busy on Friday he could come and do the crowd announcement. I would happily pay his bus fare.
