... but not in time for the Celtic match.

Do the SFA want to be seen as incompetent or scared by the timing of this?

My belief is it was the usual head in the sand, what is the worst that could happen, sure we won't need a compliance officer over the Christmas period, type thing.

The surprise (or was it ?) was that neither the ref nor linesman saw him throwing tge punch since it was pretty blatant, and certainly spotted by the TV guys.
However it usually takes a couple of days before compliance officer states ban and if player appeals a couple of more days to hear the case for a Saturday match. So not unusual for a Wednesday match to carry over to following week to be resolved imo.

To be honest, I don't think that "punch" would have put even Jamie Walker down.

The Magic hat man is saying it is clearly a push

Is that hat effecting his eye sight cause it is a clear punch, albeit a weak one.

It would probably help their chances against Celtic if he were suspended.

The draft caused by the punch would have put Jamie Walker down!! :agree:

Speaking of dives zahas one last Saturday was surely worthy of walker at his best. Horrendous tumble and allardyce said it was a definite pen. Makes my blood boil especially as we don't have anybody good enough who can con the refs.

Holt does his best, but they are embarrassing but also very funny watching someone his size fall over so easily when brushed against by someone the size of Willo Flood. :faf:

Could not have happened before the celtic game something to do with there not being enough working days to see have the hearing.

2 matches to be served immediately seems badly worded. 2 matches after you have played in the game most important to your club and then immediately after that would have been more accurate.
