Very sad day, my son played at the Hibs kids tournament just before David died, he was there and signed his Hibs bottle for him and was great with the kids.

The bottle is still displayed unused in the house so although we never knew David we still think about him regularly.

David will never be forgotten by so many people at hibs but it would be nice to get something permanent in memory of him.

So very true. Very good idea. Something along the line of an academic player being nominated for something each year perhaps?

Is there not a Hibs stone?

Development player of the year trophy named after him or something like that.

Is there not a Hibs stone?

Think there might be but there are thousands and it's like looking for a needle in a haystack looking for a specific one.

The ideas of a trophy named after him is a great idea, most improved development player that season.
