There's every chance we'll have the odd one or two lurking in the South Stand to greet their idol Rudi.

They are DBS.

The link they have on the website doesn't seem to be working though.

I confidently predict that our recent downturn in attendances will be reversed and we'll once again break the 14k barrier against Raith.

Unless a helluva lot of season ticket holders give it a miss we will easily beat 14k, I would reckon >15k.

I agree but in terms of tickets purchased we are well in front of where we normally are 48 hours before the game.

I am assuming that people buying tickets for the game will attend.

Massive game - hopefully fans who are in or close to Edinburgh turn up.

Raith unbeaten against Hibs and Utd this season so going to be a tricky test.

Plus...Gary Locke is there manager !!

Over the water Hibbies may be struggling (me included) Good chance the Forth bridge will be closed on Saturday due to winds.

If the wind and rain is as bad as the forecast says, there's every chance the game could be called off IMO.

Yes however expect disruption with object/trees blown onto the line. I mind someones shed got blown onto the line near Cupar station last year :greengrin Anyway, if the winds get that bad and I'm talking 60-70mph gusts then Network Rail will impose a blanket speed restriction of 50mph for all trains leading to further disruption.

To be honest its not very apparent from the overview how busy it is. Most of the amber sections actually only have a handful of seats left.

Few of the sections probably showing a slightly false number of tickets 'sold' as the tickets will have been printed for sale at the pods?

Even accounting for that it still looks like it'll be a pretty healthy crowd though.

Anyone know how many Raith Rovers fans are going to be there? Half of the lower south probs? Looking at the way our ticket sales are going, this could be our biggest attendance of the season.

More like a quarter of the lower south. Can't see them bringing any more than 400. Weather forecast in the morning won't help either with the strong winds and the crossing of the Forth.

Will be a good crowd but don't get too carried away with dot counting. They have now removed the usual load of tickets for the pods and section 10 shows few seats available.....however as usual will depend on walk ups ( weather may be a factor in this). It always looks like that this season before a game, but the last 2 games the section has been virtually empty except for us ST holders, as the number of walk ups dwindled and the pods were less busy. Also will depend on how many season tickets turn up.

If Raith bring a few then hoping we can push 15K and of course get the three points :flag:

Hibs fans were in the South Stand for many years before the new East Stand was opened. I had a season ticket (Category B matches only) for the South Stand.

There are separate turnstiles and they can be segregated.

What usually happens at festive games is that out-of-town fans find it hard to attend through transport and weather issues, but this more than offset by local fans who live within walking distance of the ground and are looking for an excuse to get out the house, and/or catch up with friends. This one's a 14.5-15K affair.
