Well if he wasn't, it's Nicola Sturgeon's fault, by default

Hope the lamppost wasn't too badly damaged.

Leaving the scene of an accident.
Failing to identify himself to the person he injured. Who pays for the damage to the bicycle?
But wait! Jaiqi Liu? Isn't that a FOREIGN name? ASIATIC, even?
Nothing to see here, then. Move along.

That will teach the cyclist to ride too close to cars.

No, car doors :-)
I walk along there every day on my way to work. Quite a few testosterone fuelled cyclists have no regard for other road users and don't ride defensively at all. That said, there are places for vehicles to pull in for the HoP along there so why didn't he use them?

Grayling is innocent but should still be sacked as the Transport Minister because of the shambles on southern rail. Wonder if Paddy Power will take a bet which one goes first Grayling or Yousaf?

I appreciate that, but he's a Tory, and one is supposed to look behind before opening the door.
There are idiots who just open the door and step out into traffic. Getting out into the path of MY CAR sometimes. Couldn't care less about their doors - it's my front bumper and bonnet I'm thinking of.
Imagine if Grayling had stepped out in front of a bus?
"Transport Minister Creamed by London Transport ..."
Tragic!

It was a light hearted flippant remark to a serious incident. I sincerely hope no Tories, cyclists or car doors were seriously hurt in this incident. The disregard done people hold for their own safety let alone the safety of others is astounding. Talking about car damage a female on Queensferry road drifted so close to me last week our wing mirrors clipped. This despite me sounding my horn and hugging the pavement edge in an attempt to avoid her.

I didn't know where to lay this one, however, as it's the UK transport department, here will do.
