Loganair is moving flights to Glasgow because of rising landing costs at Edinburgh. Are they (Edinburgh Airport) getting too greedy? Their £1 drop-off charge particularly chokes me.
To be honest I thought the £1 charge was a bit of a scam but I really works well with folk only too keen to move on meaning there's always spaces.
Are Loganair saying what they're rising from to?

Increasing congestion charges by £200.
Also Edinburgh airport increasing charges 8% across the board next year, Glasgow increasing charges 1%.
This info from EEN article on BBC news website.
I thought the pickup/drop off charges were now £4!

Pick up is but most folk including cabbies just use the drop off zone to pick up.
Airport don't like it but not much they can do.
I thought the pickup/drop off charges were now £4!Nope, my Wife dropped my Daughter of yesterday & it was £1 👍
Pick up is the same provided its done within 15 mins or it jumps up, Wife parks near airport and Daughter alerts her when she is in the terminal then she goes to pick up and pays £1

The congestion is much worse at Heathrow where some passengers seem to need seeing off by 10 or 20 relatives.

Prices are mad. Small part of my business is airport meet and greets. I'm collecting off Geneva flight tonight. If I'm waiting over 30 minutes it costs around £8 in parking by time they add a card charge. I've upped my charge to guests to cover but if parking charges keep going up it won't be worth my while

What gets me is that they don't provide anywhere to stop outside the airport before going in. So someone could text to say come through now.
Don't get me started on the greedy ******* airport

I see Glasgow Airport are getting in on the pick-pocketing act now except they are mugging you for two quid for a drop-off.
