I don't own a drone as I have absolutely no need for one. It would be a total waste of money.

I've got a drone with a camera. It sends the footage to my mobile phone and I can take photos.

There's a flight time of up to 7 minutes per battery charge, probably takes about an hour to charge on the mains. And that's the problem. Unless you're able to fly the thing in your back garden/green or have a box of spare batteries it's pretty much useless. Too much waiting around for too little flight time.

In retrospect the first couple of charges were useful for the repairs needed as you got used to flying it!!!

The more expensive ones can cost over a grand but come with anti crash sensors and the like, much longer flying times and better picture/video quality. I have absolutely no need for one but I now have the urge to do a video of a flyround at ER. No idea why.
