Interesting article here from the Scottish guy running the Brentford B team set up. Saying that the Academy model is inherently flawed and this is shown by Scotland having 50% the number of academies that Germany do, but only 1/16th the population, and we have very little to show for it.

Brentford, with thier model, are promoting at least one B Teamer a season -Something Clubs like Hibs should be looking to do..!

Is this actually something new?

I thought we used to have 'reserve' leagues with a mixture of senior and junior players?
