Trialist for Hibs

Is it the Lewis Hamilton lookalike?

Is the trialist Rossi?

Also going by the team on twitter it appears they are playing 433 a change from the usual 352, is that right?

Reale has good credentials, I like the fact we're looking a bit wider than UK for players, other teams have done this to good effect, also Rossi was quoted as being asked to come for a trial.

Ross County play older players often and are sitting at the top for a reason.

Good, we need back up if Bartley gets injured. [emoji23]

Good game this aftenoon, pretty even 1st half. Hibs had a good chance to take the lead when Lewis Allan hit the bar, think he should have scored, and Lewis and Ollie got in each other's way with the rebound. County hit the bar and they scored 2 good goals to virtually end the game. I've seen us play better, but County area good team at this level at the moment.
The trialist looks a good player at this level, was able to find space, take the ball in a tight area, and pick out passes. Played very deep, similar to where Dylan played on Friday. He's quite slight and not tall, so wonder if he's got the stamina for our division
Tired as the game went on though
Leanne and George Craig in attendance

I'd quite like to get to see our development side play, but most games seem to be during the traditional working week. I don't know how many attend these games, but I'm sure if played at night, you would get a reasonable number of fans coming along. They probably have played the occasional night game, but the KO times do seem to vary quite a bit.

The game next Tuesday is against Patrick Thistle, at Airdrie's stadium. 6pm KO I'm told, if it's any help

We had a similar KO time a few weeks back, and again, not really feasible for the 9-5 folks. I'm sure there will be reasoned argument for such KO times, and I accept that these games are not about getting the fans in.

The Oriam is a heavily booked centre at night, with various teams using it, from all sports. Maybe the afternoon is the only time we can book it.
We've mostly played teams from a distance, home or away in an afternoon slot, for obvious travel reasons.

East fife train on half the pitch at oriam on a Tuesday at 6pm so that rules out us being able to play our home games in the evening which is very disappointing as so many fans, including myself, can't make afternoon kick offs. It's great facilities there but if we want the next generation of footballers to gain "match day" experience of fans being at the game and being vocal we need to play in the evenings.

I live in Peebles, so Oriam is only about 40 minutes drive. I'll get there one day! Last match I saw was a development game at East Mains on a Saturday when the first team had a Sunday fixture. Saw quite a few weekend games at East Mains.

Peebles will always be a problem unless it's at night
We're waiting on the draw Friday for the Youth Cup 1/4, maybe we'll be fortunate to get a home draw and play at ER

Anyone know how Sean Mackie played today? Glad to see him back after his injury and hoping he can kick on and get back to where he was prior.

Assuming it was Sean that played of course, don't think there is any ther 'Mackie' in the development side.

Mackie played left wing back and did well. Not sure if hes better suited to orthodox full back maybe. Thought Ben Stirling struggled to adapt to ring back on the other side though. I much prefer him in centre mid

I don't think it makes much difference to be honest, how many more people would really turn out in the evening rather than afternoon? Not that many to make any significant difference, one of the afternoon KOs was a full house anyway. There will always be people who the afternoons suit better- I've been to quite a few so far this season, probably more than I would at night.
