T'Rangers have announced to the press (half season tickets on sale now, folks!) that they are lining up a big name overseas signing for January, but they refuse to release the name for now.

Anybody like to take a guess as who this mega-signing might be?

Maybe José Bartoni?

It'll be a Greek player. They've usually got massive names.

Joao Teixeira

Usual bluster. Warburton will know him from the English Championship tho I suppose, when Teixeira was on loan at Brighton. I'd hardly call him outstanding tho. Nearly 24 and has 36 first team appearances.

Not that bothered as long as he costs as much in wages and signing fees as Senderos, Krancjar and Barton and contributes as much to the cause.

At wolves just now? He'd do nothing up here just like the rest of the ***** they signed from the English Championship in the summer.

They haven't got a pot to wee in so I'm expecting it to be a complete non-event.

Throw a name out there and say Joleon Lescott who turned them down before heading to Greece.

Surely Robbie Muirhead will be getting a call up to the big team after scoring a couple of goals against them?

'Outstanding pedigree… Mark Warburton shares Rangers’ January transfer plan'

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/12/02/outstanding-pedigree-mark-warburton-shares-rangers-january-trans/

The 'Fat in the Hanny' -

'It would be a loan deal. If it comes down to the money, we won’t get this player, so therefore we have got to offer something different'

£50m war-chest V loan-deals ??.

Wonder if the Scottish MSM will eventually ASK questions instead of printing the ANSWERS they're told to write ................... :rotflmao:

Maybe its Joey Barton. I've heard he's available.
