I know this has happened after Stubbs but we all knew they were a basket case of a club. Still don't know what possessed him to go there.

A few on here seem to know why he left, though they're not allowed to talk about it. Think it was a fight club type situation.

It gets worse. Even now Colin Calderwood is clearing his desk and waiting by the phone.

They could tempt Sir Alex back and he wouldnt save them.

Stubbs tried to rebuild a squad on a shoe string budget and simply didnt get enough quality in. The likes of Fisher/Ball/Allan/Vaulks, although good players, were never really going to make that step up and keep them in that league.

For example, whilst most of that league are spending millions on players, Rotherham spent £300k on Vaulks. They just dont have the capabilities to compete.

They are going down, may aswell build for next season in League 1.

Baffled at that!

Watched their game against Leeds at the weekend and they were unlucky not to grab a point right at the end.

They brought in Kelly (ex Liverpool) and Odemwingie and both made costly errors (Kelly showing the winger to goal and PO getting sent off by punching opponent).

Sounds like he made a mistake accepting the job :greengrin

Its a different Kelly, not the lad from Liverpool. Stephen Kelly used to play for the likes of Birmingham (I think) Fulham and Reading.
