It's absolutely heartbreaking watching the interviews with the players who were abused as youngsters. So brave, especially Mr. Woodward who inspired others to open up.

It's starting to remind me of the Savile stuff: paedophiles who abuse their positions, star struck kids who feel that they have to put up with it and institutions who, for one reason or another, simply turn a blind eye or deny it happens.

A reporter who tried to make a documentary about this in the nineties has come out with some damning stuff, and she also claims that there is one current footballer who won't come out about it due to the abuse he might receive from the crowd.

This could be the top of the iceberg as far as victims are concerned, especially boys who had to leave football.

Truly horrible stuff but again, what an inspiration Woodward and the others are.

:agree: Not looked at the forums for a few days, surprised that the regular posters aren't all over this. Hope I'm wrong but I think it's gonna be big.

To be honest I think someone's knicked the ball, took it to the main board and it's got a bit messy.

They'll learn :-D
