So they would like to play the match at their own ground if they get through?

It's not that simple I believe, it's covered in the Scottish cup competition rules.

So Albion Rovers are moving their tie against Celtc to Motherwell, but Bonnyrigg, if they get through, won't be asking to move their tie against the Cup Holders. Strange, very strange, or downright bonkers.

Lots of teams have changed venues for cup ties. Not an issue

Who did Celtic play in the cup at Easter rd in a tie that was moved there a number of years ago?

They will. Even if they don't want to they might be made to. No way to segregate crowd etc. might force them to move it

They'll have to foot the bill as well as they are the home team, This is all really irrelevant anyway as its more than likely going to be Dumbarton with only 700 tickets for us. Thank goodness for the away season ticket though.

Can the game be played at Er?
I have argued it's the home teams choice?

No, 100% cannot be played at the away teams venue. This is against completion rules.

I know the Rose Charmain, big Celtic man, I would wager livingstone,
As he dislikes Hearts as much as us.

Strangely, it's not.

The home team firstly have to convince the SFA board they are unable to host the game at their own ground. Given having a compliant home ground is a condition of entry, this is unusual.

If they do convince the sfa board they cannot host the tie, it will be held at the nearest registered ground of a similar capacity that the sfa board agree to.

How that would be interpreted should bonnyrigg progress and for example are refused police cover is anyone's guess as meadowbank is possibly closest followed by Easter road tynecastle and ainsley park.

Most grounds managed to host the rangers on their way up the leagues in often similar grounds to bonnyrigg it's hard to see a compelling argument for switching on that basis.

Agreed, and they can't use money as an excuse either. There would be an issue with segregating the fans inside the ground and also is there not only 2 or3 turnstiles for the whole ground? That would cause problems.

Well we will find out if it's moved now! I was stunned that there was only 4 turnstiles at Dumbarton tonight.
