Because the broadcasters know what it is going to be like?

The authorities are trying to encourage folks back to grounds, but this match was unfortunately deemed unsuitable for their ongoing PR exercise.

Seems odd as the cable and satellite channels seem to love a good bit of all in wrestling

I suspect Robbie had the first team out at the weekend helping lift the old bridge off ........ They're certainly tall enough

I watched an Accies vs Hearts game on tv last season (I think it was last season anyway) because I had a bet on it.

It was possibly the worst couple of hours I've ever had watching football. Anti-football all the way, unwatchable garbage with long balls, ridiculous tackles, constant haranguing of the ref and no football whatsoever.

It was actually a worthwhile exercise and I'm glad I watched it - it does you good to reinforce the fact that I've made the right choice when it comes to following my football team and it more than reinforced my view of what Jonny Yam likes to watch in a football team.

Needless to say my "over booking points" bet had come in iirc by half-time.

I don't expect much football to be played tonight and it is good of the TV companies to spare the British public this spectacle.

Absolutely mental, game changed from 3pm Saturday afternoon to Monday night due to roadworks on the Motorway (not sure what road but might have been M74)

Scottish football fans being shafted as usual.

I don't expect the M8 would be much fun for any Jambos heading along after work tonight.

With this wind and rain too, sounds like it will be a classic. Pity it's not on the telly.

We'll never know the exact 'Ball out the Ground' spread as that'll be a lot more interesting than what's served up by way of football.

I'm sure this will be a large attendance though, given the Yam travelling support. Probably a record attendance for a Monday Night match that was ignored by TV.

It also highlights the importance of having decent attacking full backs.

Or the fact they lost 3 goals shows how careless they are when it comes to their defensive responsibilities. Paterson is another that bombs forward, scores the odd aerial goal from corners, but can't defend to save his life hence why only Wigan were interested in him.

Agree thought it was a pen. General impressions Hearts looked horrific defensively Ozturk, Souttar woeful including their new wonder kid goalie who looked well culpable at goals 1 and 3. Walker looked a threat and Paterson also though he does tend to bomb on at times without thinking or no one covers for him . Goal 3 he bombs on and then his team lose the ball and huge gap where he should be.

What was obvious from the highlights last night was how appalling the Hearts support was given (appreciate they may have had another section not seen by the cameras) they hadnt played for 2 weeks and it wasnt a tv game.

I didn't really notice that, I was distracted by the appalling defending by the players wearing the comedy battenburg strips every time Hamilton went forward.

His Champions League campaign was lacklustre.

How can this 'institution' of a club be happy if they are not bashing Johnny Foreigner on a regular basis? The Famous will not be denied.

Heard captain caveman on the radio saying that last night was a learning experience for them. Crossed my mind that they've had quite a few 'learning experiences' recently. My favourite was the lesson we gave them in February on how to win a Scottish cup after being 2 goals down with 10 minutes to go.

Seriously though, I think he's done a decent job for them. But he has less charisma than a damp cloth and I'd also be getting bored of his and Leveins brand of hoofball if I had the misfortune of being a Jambo.
