Oh aye, here we go. Following our best display of the season let's lambast the performance of our opening goal scorer. After all Grant Holt wasn't playing so we have to pick on someone else.

Of course now that Derek Townsley, Colin Nish, Alan O'Brien Brian Kerr etc are no longer here we have to target some poor victim. It appears to be the Hibs way.

I despair !

Although he seemed an unlikely target for us at first, I was pleased when we signed him as his goals to starts ratio throughout his career has been excellent. As it has been here, so far.

Very good option at this level. Like his attitude not afraid to get stuck in and a good experienced striker.

As is it Kyle Lafferty would score loads in this league.

No idea why the majority view seems to think Grant Holt has been great and Graham hasn't been. I think the reason Boyle got so many chances was that Graham is very mobile. He moves defenders about and creates channels for others to use. No surprise to me that Shinnie and Boyle were excellent on Saturday as Graham did loads of work to make space for them to benefit from. The other reason to start Graham is he has a great goals to time played ratio. For us he has 1 goal for every 98 minutes of football. Compare that to this season - Jason at 1 goal per 128 minutes, Boyle with a goal every 148, Holt at 1 per 363, and most surprisingly Keats at 1 every 742 minutes.

It seems to me that Hibs fans just don't like goal scorers. I find it bizarre but there seems to be more forum commenters stick up for huddies like James Collins than there are for regular goal scorers like Graham and Cummings.

He's not quite a goalscorer at International level yet if that's what your very strange post means.

Just the way he is on the ball the way he moves at set pieces the goals he scores, and his height as well😂! Just very laffertyish!

Why is near on everyone assuming it an insult? I'd bloody take Kyle Lafferty right now and if not I'm happy to have a body double doing the same job.

No he isn't. He's scored 10 goals this season but 6 of them are for Ross County.

The fact as you acknowledge is that he has scored ten goals, six of which were for a premiership club - the man is in double figures and it is only November. Unless he has transferred over night he is still "our" player.

Yes, 3 of which were for a premiership club against Cove Rangers (Highland Lg), 1 against Montrose (Lg 2) and 1 against Alloa (Lg1).

I like Graham though, been a good addition so far.

I like what I've seen of Graham so far. A bit of threat around the goal area, seems to look for a chance and is one defenders know is about. Good addition to the squad

Not sure what point you're trying to make pal. Glad he's banging them in but it still doesn't make him "our" top goal scorer. That's Jason Cummings :aok:

Think the point he's trying to make is that the Hibs player who has scored most goals this season is Brian Graham. :dizzy:
