Hi all,

Started writing a Hibs blog as part of a uni project, firstly about why Hibs have been like the Great Wall of China this season.

All shares, feedback and slatings would be much appreciated.

I'm not a grammar Nazi, but it may be beneficial to take more time regarding your use of punctuation.

The BBC (for example), make many errors in their articles, but it doesn't mean that you have to lower yourself to their standards.

It could be helpful to proof read your blog posts before clicking on the publish button as I noticed quite a few typos/spacing issues.

Forgetting about grammar and typos as imho they are acceptable on a forum.

Expand on the following:


Hibernian’s defensive record after 13 games;

2012/13: 17 conceded

2013/14: 14 conceded

2014/15: 13 conceded

2015/16: 9 conceded

& 2016/17: 7 conceded

Notice something different?

From the above I can see that the goals conceded are decreasing for the first 13 games on a yearly basis.

While interesting, it doesn't mean too much unless you also show goals scored and goal difference (imho).

TLDR: I'm appalling regarding punctuation, grammar etc; in my defence I can claim advancing years and not having a blog.

Keep going and take any advice with a pinch of salt.
