Sports compression thermals all winter as a matter of course for me, keep you cool or warm as required,
especially if you have extra fat to get squeezed backwards in-between your ribs & other handy cavities.
Then have a pie (think of the guy in The Full Monty sitting in his hut, wrapped in clingfilm, eating a Mars bar).
Have two pies.
