This simple, but powerful banner is obviously now an iconic item of Hibernian memorabilia. It's maybe been answered before, but who owns it? Where is it now? And if not in the hands of the club, are there any plans to pass into their hands to add to the club archives?

Hopefully those in charge make a pragmatic decision then?

They are frightened about any sort of banner these days to the point the front of 43 has minimal colour.

We've offered to have it permanently fitted somewhere in the stadium.

What have the club said or done to make you post that? Seems absurd..

They seem frightened after the final. We have a good relationship with the club, however this season the club have cordoned the first row off, in fear of people running on the pitch, and not allowed any flags/banners to be displayed over the front of the section.

The Time For Heroes banner has made the club tens of thousands of pounds, hopefully some common sense will prevail soon.

The banner is an icon of huge importance and it's significance in the story of Hibernian FC is almost unquantifiable. It should be displayed/conserved for future generations. Sorry for sounding a bit thick, may I ask how the banner has made all that money for Hibs? Do you mean through it's impetus on 21 May and how it encapsulated our determination and resilience to actually win the cup or is it more literal and is commercialised in an actual money-making scheme? Sorry if I have had a major'Whoosh' moment.:greengrin

Is the origin of the phrase The Libertines' song? Great song, mind.

Ever noticed the similarity between the lyrics of the Libertines song to the events of that day?
