There must be thousands who just stand around the forecourt doing nothing, when they are suddenly attacked by a vicious horde of West of Scotland FC and Scottish cup supporters who don't even have a car so have no reason to be in a filling station.

My routine is to park up prior to entering the forecourt and dressing into the clothes and scarf I wore at the final. Then after filling up and exiting I then park up again and change back into the clothes I had on before.

I had a jambo mate, sorry acquaintance, who used to fill his car up with 19.02p when another of our mates (Hibby) worked at the garage.

Usually a 20 note was used to pay and he would give him his change in as much coppers as he could. Even when a 2p was handed over with the 20.
