I'll be in PJs with some Man Utd fans that are coming to watch Hibs for the first time. It's a good pub with Brewdog on tap amongst others.

They've obviously got a relaxed dress code then.

Maybe I'm losing my "street" as I get older but from the outside that place looks as rough as a badgers arse.

The Lizzie has had a refurb, was my local but now an eatery aimed at families. Pool tables hv gone etc.
It reopened a few months ago, I had heard that the new management weren't keen for football trade and anyone with colours wouldn't be welcome.
Ive been staying in Edinburgh so unsure if this is still the case - maybe best to check.

I can assure you it's not. It's a perfectly good, well kept pub.
No idea what it's like on match days, tho.

I've nae idea what losing your street means but, its a decent enough boozer well populated by Hibs fans when we are over there.

My first Hibs away day a decade or so back. We went into some backstreet boozer in the town at about 11am and the place was full of folk who looked like they'd been in their since the night before. The moment we opened the door this little Staffie dog was jumping at us and barking. Some old geezer at the bar piped up - "Don't worry lads - he's only eats Hibbies!".

Quick pint that was.

Ignore my last post, just checked with my mate Eric who's now the chef at the Lizzie (good hibee).

We're more than welcome, usual pre match food available.

It's a great pub when Hibs are playing. The Hibs the songs will be belting out! Always a great atmosphere!

Plus my uncle runs it.

Fair do's. My usual pub experience nowadays is a pint while I'm waiting for a table at the Brewers fayre or Toby carvery so I'm probably not the best judge.

Get off at Dunfermline Town, its about .5 of a mile from there. Go to the top of St Margarets Drive, take the Carnegie Drive turn off the roundabout the pub will be a few mins walk on the left.
