It sounds like this one will be confirmed tomorrow, any guesses what the ticket prices might start at. Me and my mate really fancy it.

Probably be able to fill Wembley for this one and with a full undercard, even seats in the 'Gods' will be £100+ I reckon. May well be more.

Be the richest fight in boxing history outside the US by a distance. Sky will ask for, and get, £25 no bother.

It will be like the passing on of the baton. Klitchsko wont be able to live with the speed of Joshua. It's

It's not going to be outside in December though, Hearn was talking about The Millenium Stadium if he could get it, other than that I think the two biggest indoor arenas would be the O2 or MEN

Keep seeing rumours about how it's going to get confirmed by a certain day, that day arrives then the rumours say it's going to be another day. The fact that it's supposed to be less than 2 months away and it's not been confirmed yet suggest that there are problems getting this over the line. I won't be surprised to see Joshua fight someone else.

The Klitschkos are notoriously difficult to deal with. When Haye was negotiating with Wlad they wanted a deal that saw him make less money, agree to their glove choice, fight in Germany and sign both a rematch clause only if he won and should he have won that he had to fight Vitali also with a win only rematch clause.

Whilst Klitschko is still a big draw maybe Hearn is looking to get the best deal for Joshua who has a lot more to lose if he fails to beat an ageing, recently defeated fighter. Joshua is the champion now and the fight should be, to an extent, on his terms. Whilst this is a huge fight as it will really prove what Joshua is all about one way or another I'd say Joshua v Wilder is a bigger, better fight and Hearn can't afford to have his fighter tied into a contract with Klitschko for the next 12-18 months.

Apparently Wlad won't fight unless the WBA belt is on the line and until the WBA sanction it then there's no deal. Hopefully this gets cleared up and the fight gets confirmed asap, but Hearn says both fighters are looking at alternative opponents.

Good point. Millenium it is then as this is too big a fight for the O2 or MEN.

Millennium I think isn't available for the 10th of December or indeed any weekend in December, the O2 already has concerts in December so that's unavailable, I think the biggest place in the UK that's available in December is the MEN Arena so it'll be there. Pretty sure there was a stadium with a roof available in Germany for the fight but as Wladimir will be the "Challenger" I don't think that would've ever been seriously considered.

Seen a couple of papers and articles saying the MEN is booked by Hearn :aok:

It would be interesting to see if AJ could put Klitschko on his backside.

Joshua wins if you ask me, comfortably aswell personally don't think there is a heavyweight out there just now that would beat Joshua, also interesting to see Eddie hearn signed up Luis ortiz who apparently is the most avoided heavyweight in the world wonder if it's to set him up as future Joshua opponent

It's an intriguing fight. Nobody can say with any certainty who will win. I'd sway towards Joshua just because Klitschko has looked really poor in his last couple of fights and looks like he's on the rapid decline. He's also been inactive for the last year. But make no mistake this is a huge step up for Joshua. Klitschko is levels above anyone he's been in with so far.

It seems the wheels have fallen off this one for this year. Likely Joshua v Parker now. Hopefully get tickets for that one.

Looks unlikely to happen now that Wlad has booked the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg for a scrap with Lucas Browne, Wlad sure does love these easy fights!! IMO He's just pretended to want the Joshua fight until Ortiz got a fight lined up so there'd be no chance of having to fight him for the WBA belt, then pussied out of it for a ridiculously easy scrap with Browne. I love the sport but it doesn't half frustrate!!!

The problem now is that Joshua's team have been tied up in these negotiations for the last 3-4 weeks. Hearn has re-confirmed the date as 10th of December regardless of opponent. If the Klitschko fight isn't happening anymore then Joshua will probably get thrown in with another bum that will get knocked out before most fans get to their seat. Seen that David Price has thrown his name in the hat 🙈

Parker v Ruiz for WBO is now happening in Auckland December 10.

Confirmed that it's not happening this year. Klitschko apparently picked up an injury and they will possibly fight next year instead. Joshua is still fighting in Manchester on December 10th but no opponent has been confirmed yet.
