Wick Academy had to go to Dalbeattie Star in the last round. A journey and a half that one...

Do any of the junior or lower league teams get help from the SFA with travelling expenses? I know in the Irn Bru cup they do.

A few years back a mate of mine done Newcastle to Plymouth. 816 mile round trip, worth it though as they secured the Chanpionship title that day.

Just as well they have no ambition to play in A League then......Wellington travelled to Perth recently...dunno what the exact travel distance/ time is, but must be about a 7 hr flight each way.

Those Scottish distances take a different perspective once used to the A-league where an away game can be a 5hr flight.

We enter in January. The reason that there are no championship fixtures that weekend, is that the bottom sides in our league enter that weekend

So many great memories of Brora in a friendly in the early 80's, a total 48 hour drinking session, would kill me nowadays. :greengrin

No, actually we now get awarded the cup every year in perpetuity, in gratitude from the rest of Scottish football for confirming The Rangers as a bunch of total deluded bigots.
