Not very secret now though :greengrin

Can't be many venues in Falkirk, never mind ones which can hold 500+

Been cancelled apparently. People claiming police scotland knew about it for weeks and were happy for it to go ahead.

Much like when orange marches, SDL rallies or Hearts games take place at least an event like this would keep a locality of idiots in one place for a few hours.

Didn't they enter a talent contest at the Gorgie Suite? Came close second to a C & W band called Luftwaffe.

The Forth Centre aka Coasters / old Ice Rink. Huge barn, perfect for that kind of gig. May be a fives area now but there's loads of space

I ran a sold-out rockabilly all-dayer in Falkik in 2005 and the local Hun, Orange Lodge, BNP, SDL loons came in for a look. They thought we'd be up for sharing their Confederate Flag philosophy - they were swiftly told to GTF.

Bathgate, Harthill and Falkirk are a hotbed for all this lowbrow racist and sectarian bollox. The vast majority would have been gutted on 21st May :giruy2:

It was Coasters.

In our last promotion season a mate of mine drove us through to Brockville and he had some pool-related business to take care of at the boozer attached to the side of Coasters beforehand. Spray painted in huge letters on one of the white walls was: 'Combat 18: nightmare begin'.

Good to see Falkirk has moved with the times!

A good few years ago I took over a pub that had become a local for some old school Aberdeen casuals, who were also heavily involved with the National Front. Guys in their 40's and 50's, still "living the dream". I was unaware of the connection between the ASC and the neo Nazis but apparently it was a thing back in the day. Very anti Irish and pro-unionist as well, which was surprising considering their hatred of all things Rangers. In the short time it took me to get rid of them, I learned quite a lot about their "political activities". They would often leave behind meeting agendas, leaflets, campaign strategies etc. The NF are pretty active up here and they would regularly head down to these types of gigs, mostly in wee working men's clubs or village halls in and around Fife for some reason. They definitely go on much more regularly than most of us would believe.
