Anyone got any good suggestions for a hotel to go to in Christmas Day for dinner? Edinburgh, east or Midlothian?

Not normally a thing we do but we want to go as a large group (15) this year.

Cheers

The cuddy brae at newcraighall is pretty good for a Christmas dinner.

That's the first time I've heard someone say something positive about that place. My folks gave it a few tries and said it's that bad they'd never go back. That wasn't for Christmas dinner, right enough.

Miller and Carter at Cramond are taking Christmas bookings, have eaten there a couple of times and it's been good. Again, not tried it at Christmas so can't vouch for that.

With regards that place at Crammond, I fancied it for a steak but the reviews appear a bit mixed.
