Whilst it hasn't been advertised much, the 1st Round of the William Hill Scottish Cup was played today.

One tie is tomorrow and it sees Leith Athletic FC play Cumbernauld Colts.

The game is a 4pm ko at Ainslie Park Stadium, Spartans FC.

Entry is £5 for Adults, £3 for Concessions and U16's get in free.

Pop along and take the game in if you're at a loose end.

I was up at Turiff watching Bonnyrigg Rose play. The buggers have stolen the Scottish Cup from the Hibs as it was on the pitch. £8 and £4 up there so a fiver is a bargain

I saw a fair amount of media coverage about the first round, most centred on Turriff for no reason I could think of.

I think the Scottish Cup is a bit like Disney characters in their parks; there are never 2 on show at the same time but can disappear in one location and reappear in another as though by magic in an unfeasibly short time.
