By one of the best sides in the world, arguably the best on their day. It's a sore one but when you go from playing against guys signed from Accrington Stanley on a Saturday to Messi, Neymar and Suarez on Tuesday it's a massive difference, a world of difference.

That's just silly.

You might as well say it would be worse to be playing your last game of the season, only needing a draw to win the title and then you go and concede two in the last eight minutes.

As if either of those things would ever happen

I beg to differ. Because they left a (very average at best) Scottish side chasing shadows, I doubt Real, Man City, Bayern etc will be crapping bricks and thinking 'how can we possibly get close to Barca'. A newly promoted Spanish side nobody had heard of before certainly weren't thinking that at the weekend.

Bugger, said to a mate in all honesty sellik would be humped 6-0. IMO it is mostly to do with years of sellik and ra ra gers stripping our clubs of the best players and leaving no competition, SPFL and SFA have to take some of the blame too.

To be fair Barca rested 8 players at the weekend and were annoyed after stupidly dropping 3 points at the weekend against Alaves despite 80% possession.

The other clubs you mention won't be reading too much into that Celtic score-line though. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are probably the only two clubs around that could expect to go into a match and get something from Barca. Celtic are a pub team in comparison with those sides.
City are interesting though, they may well have the ability to give Barca a real bloody nose in the group stages.

Come on, their crowds for these games are very poor. I know last nights game was postponed, but for a club having that much money thrown at them, they don't seem to want to get out and fill their stadium much?

When I was attending Newcastle games in the late 90s City were taking big noisy away supports to SJP 'where were you when you were ****' was their chant of choice) and were well known for being loyal even when they were down in the third tier. The fact that they're not selling out Chumpions league fixtures could be used as evidence that they're less infiltrated by the tourist ticketmaster punter (who often turns up to watch random London sides for a 'day out' despite having no allegiance to the club (easily spotted as the boy constantly taking selfies of himself and filming large chunks of the game on his iPhone 7 while getting the chants wrong)
