Is there no first option for season ticket holders.

The last few games I have been to we have choice of two stands. Be enough for everyone. I am driving up from Halifax.

It says we have been given a large Allocation If someone knew what that equated to Ticketwise it could be the club thhink that thete is enough to go round so straight to general sale ,after he away Season Ticket holders are catered for

I'll be there, really enjoyed the trip down last season, despite getting beat against the run of play.

Glad to hear that we are getting a very reasonable ticket allocation from them, it should be a fantastic day in so much as it will be our biggest game of the season so far. I think home advantage for them will make it a tough game but hopefully we win.

Queens' away allocation is around the 4000 mark if memory serves me right. You can fit over 3000 in their terracing. Great day out except when it rains!

Not so bloody fantastic when it snows either.

.......... like last season in probably our most miserable performance.

This will be a huge game, they're going really well. Hopefully it's a flash in the pan but they could be dangerous this season.

The away terracing has a capacity of 1,950 and when the visiting support is expected to be big, they give the whole of East Stand (cap: 2,200) to away Fans.

With ~4k tickets available, I can see why Hibs wouldn't bother having a staged release of tickets and just go straight to general sale instead.

We will only get half of the seated stand like we always do

How can they get promoted if they have a large standing section , i thought there was an all seating criteria for the SPL ?

Celtic just spent £250k on a standing section. Rules thankfully changed.

Stevenson mentioned that yesterday's game was our acid test for the season given our record away to them. I think the qos match is indeed that.

Possibly, but I've got a feeling they'll give up the whole stand this time, as they do when it's Celtc and T'Rangers.

Either way, it's a minimum of 3k tickets.

From Edinburgh, train to Lockerbie is easy enough, then a 30 minute bus trip to Dumfries.

Not great, but doable ( I did it that way last season from Kirkcaldy) :aok:

Plenty good pubs in Dumfries town centre which is only a 15 minute walk to the ground. Best in my view is the Globe Inn on the High Street (down a side lane) -used to be a haunt of Robbie Burns - lots of wee rooms and sells real ale.
