What's your preferred outcome?

How do you think it will go?

Me, would love a few sending offs. Maybe a pitch invasion and see how the media report it.

And The Rangers getting a spanking. Not sure the The Rangers fans like losing.

Ah the return of the big house.

I've hated all the build up but apparently we need it for the preservation of our game. No doubt the atmosphere will be applauded and the sectarian bile swept under the carpet.

I actually thing Rangers could be a good bet at 4/1.

The Rangers have had easy games to start and they think they actually have a chance of winning the league.

They are absolute rubbish and I hope they get absolutely hammered.

Celtic are significantly better team but these games never work out how they should.

I don't normally give a monkey's about these games but tomorrow I hope Warburton, Barton, Dave King and all the rest of those reptiles get utterly humiliated.

A few sendings-off and some appallingly bad hunnish fan behaviour whilst in the spotlight would be nice too.

Hope Celtic smash them by 3 or 4 to nil. In my humble and clearly impartial opinion.

The way everyone in Scotland is fawning over this game is nauseating to say the least.

This game is as much a reason behind the decline of Scottish football as the blinkered SFA. They are a cancer within our game that work only to satisfy each other.

The sooner Scottish football realises this the better. Unfortunately that won't ever happen so on that account and in answer to your question I hope Celtic pump the Huns rotten. Their new brand is more vile and horrible than before so anything that gets it right round them is fine by me.

Celtic by 3 or 4.

Agree with everything you've said bar the final sentence.. is there no way that both can lose?? Hate celtic and their patronising nonsense but hate the rangers for, well just being the rangers we all know what they're about.

The sooner this game is over the better for me and I'll be watching the Manchester derby instead as the salivating by the press and "SFA" is embarrassing.

Pisses me off when they say this is "the best derby in the world" why? Because of religious and political nonsense barely any of them understand!?? Goons the lot of them!! There's only 1 derby in Scotland that I care about and that's hibs hearts. That to me is the biggest derby in the world and the only 1 I actually care about.

I have hardly heard anything about this game over the last few days to be honest, been busy with work etc but, do you read the Sun or the Record? is this where the fawning is happening? we all , on here ken aboot the SFA and to my mind they are virtually creamin' theirselves at the prospect of an auld firm/new auld firm match.dont think you need to emboss that fact to any Hibernian fans. still, I do seriously hope that the fanny wi' the fanny's hat gets a real goin' over tomorrow.

For the sake of the OP's question I would say I always lean to Celtic, don't know why really I just see Rankers as the same Stew as the Hertz but just a different gravy. Maybe the see us as the same.

After the 21.05.16 yes, Hibernian Scottish Cup Winners 2016 I actually detest that mob ever more with there bleating and ungracious sympathisers ala Walker and co, so in truth I hope they get well and truly pumped, 6-0 will do for me and the hordes start spending money again they don't have and they disappear down the swannie.

Say what you like about Rangers and Warburton but they play nice football and I think they will boss possession. Celtic have the better players but that's not always the deciding factor and I don't think that Rodgers has had the time to fully get his ideas accross yet.

I see our manager is in the Daily Record again offering his latest advice to Brendan Rogers, and coming out with comments like - "We've got a game on Saturday but I’d imagine most managers and players will be listening in or checking up on it." I appreciate he'll get asked about Celtic but can he not stick to talking about the club that employs him rather than helping to hype up this non-event.

Following on from their antics on that special day I want Newco beaten every single week.

As others have mentioned they have had a pretty easy run into this fixture so hopefully their confidence is sky high and they get totally railroaded!

3 or 4 nil to the lesser greens would go down well for me.

I dont mind Celtic, as football clubs we seem to look after each other. We sell a lot of our best players to them and in return they don't have any problems lending players back. We may not have won the cup without this relationship. Celtic every time for me.

A little pitch invasion, crowd trouble, banned songs, sending offs and players fighting would be interesting ahead of the SFA hearings in October. Anything to give Sevco another chance to issue a statement and the media some fabricated coverage of the "special atmosphere" we've all been missing

Why would their confidence be sky high? Drawing with relegation favourites Kilmarnock, struggling to a last minute win over Motherwell and drawing at home to Hamilton are hardly results to inspire confidence in the inhabitants of Castle Greyskull. They've had an easy run so far, and struggled. Celtic have strengthened and are significantly better in every area of the park than Rangers. I expect nothing other than a comfortable win for Celtic, and will take great pleasure in the hun seethe that follows it.

While I can understand the general dislike for both sides of the old firm... The rangers are, by some distance, the biggest pile of **** north of the border. Not least because of their fans, but also because of the years of cheating and the arrogance of trying to claim they're still the same club. And of course let's not forget the fallout from the final. I wish them nothing but the worst and hope Celtic give them a severe pumping today.

Tom English promised the Rangers/Celtic fans they had in the studio the other night that he'd get the viewing figures. It was part of the conversation about how big it is and how the EPL gets so much more money despite them being bigger.

This game has less history than watching Celtic vs Aberdeen and I haven't watched that game for 20 or 30 years. The Rangers are a new entity and despite a few bigoted lunatics, nobody has a connection to the bankrupt club which died in debt and fraud.

The game will pass unnoticed to me like the defense of Tavernier to Stokes.

Celtc under Rogers also control possession, and do it better than Sevco as they have better players.

Celtc have pace and power up front, I can't see the The Rangers defence colony with them. Unless Warburton can change his tactics, then I can only sees a convincing Celtc win.

Cos they are back in the 'big time'

Punctuality is quite important, (if you want to go to a grammar school ) but also do try and get your facts correct. the oldest derby in the world, and also to my mind the best derby in the world is in fact the Hibernian versus Heart of Midlothian derby. I dont normally mention the gorgie mob with their full name, but there you go. the Celtic football and Athletic club versus THE Rangers , tomorrow is in some ways an intriguing match and quite a high percentage of Scots/Irish
N.Irish and possibly English/Welsh will in fact tune in, to see what happens. It will indeed be volatile as previous matches with the Old Rangers and Celtic football and Athletic club used to be.Let's hope it's a cracker, and by that I mean that there are lots of totally bigoted sounds (which the camera crew will try to downplay) and even better some fans at least on the pitch. At the end of the day, I think that The Rangers 2012 will be pumped big still and I hope it is so. I do have friends that support their opposition, and I do have relatives and former workmates that support The Rangers...............hope they get done big style

Don`t think its the oldest in the world but the oldest certainly played regularly. My guess would be that Notts v Nottingham Forest or two Sheffield teams (Hallam and someone else) would be.

In the old days when the main Glasgow derby was Celtc-Rangers, I wouldn't care who won but hoped one side would be left gutted. I can't stand Celtc. They gie me the boak. This reincarnation of Rangers, though, is worse than that. I hope Celtc gub them in to next week.

new club get humped by celtic. no shock there - its a new experience for them playing in a big league, with professional players. How they can expect to win games, with the has-beens that they've picked up on their journey from the lower leagues, is beyond me. At least they kept it to single figures.
Shame they didnt show much of a backbone though and they really should be keeping all their players on the pitch. Just goes to show its all a bit new to them, playing on the big stage and not having the head for the premier league. Out of their depth.

Asked what led to his assistant David Weir being sent to the stands, Warburton says Weir was "hugely frustrated that Barrie McKay was taken out on the touchline by a player on a yellow card."

"At 3-1 down, it was already an uphill task, but that could have made it 10 against 10," he said.

It transpires that the player who impeded McKay was Mikael Lustig, who wasn't on a yellow card.

Funny that he didn't make comment about Kranjaer and his tackle not long after being booked in the first half.

Guys a fandango

Mark warburton does no after match interview.

Well there's a shock.

He really is an obnoxious horrible loser of a man.
I know it's JJ but read this if you want - I really do hope JJ has his facts right....... :greengrin

Huns are wasting a load of cash on overrated overpaid has beens. Bombscare Senderos, deluded Barton, finished Clint Hill and Kranjcar will just be treating it as a pension fund.

It's a real shame, that is. God knows how much they're spending on yesterday's men and 'promising youngsters' from Accrington. At least this time, they're unlikely to stiff too many creditors when the inevitable happens, mainly because no one with any sense will give them a line.

:agree: They really haven't learnt their lesson from going bust previously.

They've had had a good few years to develop a younger, hungrier side at a fraction of the cost but instead pay a fortune for has beens.

Long may may it continue.

Asked what led to his assistant David Weir being sent to the stands, Warburton says Weir was just saying under his breathe that the ref was a ****er, he would have been alright but Lee Wallace pointed it out to the 4th official. :greengrin

I look forward to weeks of hearing about how this result was bad for Scottish football. Our game is in crisis and we desperately need change.

"Celtic have won their first 4 games since 2010" - sounds like its been competative since then and not a walkover, but that cant possibly be true. its been armageddon.

The latter sentence is correct but not for the reason that will be given

Where were the police and stewards while the wrecking spree was going on? Would it not make sense to have uniformed police in place in anticipation of this sort of vandalism?

If Hibs ever play that lot at ER, expect more of the same.
